A Season to Slow Down 🍂
There’s something about this time of year that naturally invites us to slow down. The days are getting shorter, the mornings a little darker, and we’re starting to spend more time tucked inside where it’s warm.Â
But while the world outside seems to be slowing down, our calendars tell a different story. Between work, family commitments, sports schedules, and the holiday season just around the corner, November can quickly become another month of rushing from one thing to the next. And suddenly, slowing down is easier said than done.
Â
This month we’re embracing the theme “A Season to Slow Down.” Not necessarily by doing less, but by being a little more intentional with where we put our time and energy.Â
Â
Maybe that means taking an hour for yourself without feeling guilty about everything waiting at home. Maybe it’s choosing a slower, gentler practice when your body is asking for rest. Or maybe it’s simply giving yourself permission to enjoy a quiet moment without feeling the need to fill it.
Â
Whatever slowing down looks like for you, I hope November offers you a few opportunities to find it.

A Little Thank You
I also want to take a moment to say thank you to everyone who joined us for A Day to Exhale in October. It was great to spend a day moving, learning, reflecting, and connecting without the usual rush of everyday life.
Â
I’m so grateful to everyone who made the day possible, from Joy, Erin, and Megan who shared their knowledge to each person who chose to spend their day with us.
Â
It was a great reminder of why this studio exists in the first place. To create a space where we can set everything else down for a while and just be.
Â
As we head into November, I hope you’ll remember that you don’t have to earn your rest by getting everything else done first.
There will always be another task, another appointment, another thing waiting for your attention. You deserve moments of rest, movement, and connection in the middle of it all, too.
Â
Moving forward, you can now expect a newsletter every two weeks instead of once a month.
Â
I am excited to share a little more inspiration, mindfulness, yoga, education, and studio updates with you along the way. Think of it as a little reminder to pause, reconnect, and take time for yourself throughout the month.
Â
Don't forget to take time to Exhale,
Clarissa
